Looking for inexpensive ways to get your listings noticed? Every seller always is and in today’s world it takes less effort than you might think. There is an endless supply of free social networking sites that are always there at your fingertips to use.  Places like Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, Twitter and on the list goes. Most of us are already using a lot of these sites already. The question is, are you using them to your best advantage?

Places like Facebook have a variety of tools available to buyers and sellers. For sellers there are groups created by top eBay guru’s that share a lot of useful information and also has a great network of sellers as followers that help make up a pretty extensive knowledge base.  In these groups you can find a variety of sellers who are new to selling or who are the old die hard sellers, you find helpful advice and tips, hot sellers lists, and a friendly place to vent freely those frustrations on experiences we have all gone through at some point or another. While the groups are helpful how do I get sales from Facebook? It’s easy make a fan page for your eBay store and there are great apps that you can add to your fan page that will directly showcase your current live eBay listings for you. Get to know the other sellers by showcasing yourself. Getting to know other fellow sellers helps you promote your own items by promoting each other. There is also Fan pages already created to promote eBay items only, all you do is share your URL on their page and you’re done.  Also with meeting other sellers on Facebook you will find they are using Pinterest and they are using it in a variety of ways.
Sellers are using Pinterest profiles to showcase everything they can about themselves and their eBay items. Sellers using Pinterest even showcase their sold items which helps show potential buyers what kind of variety you carry for inventory. Pinterest users are also contributing members to the various eBay boards that are all over the Pinterest community. It’s all about what you know and getting yourself out there.  People are visually stimulated and like to see what you share which is one reason why these social networks are so popular. Another one you might not think of is Instagram. I know you’re thinking, “OH God, not another selfie moment”. Quite the opposite, people all over the world use the app and sellers are using it to. Sellers of all walks of life of publishing pics of what they sell right from their phone and putting their sale and contact info with their pictures. Even I found, no word of a lie a seller selling sheep with Instagram and he had quite a following too. So if he can sell sheep we to can advertise our items in just one snap!
All it takes to really get yourself noticed is just a simple way of re-looking at things and ask yourself how can my actions be more productive today? Once you ask yourself that ideas will just start coming to you. You may have some new ideas already just from reading this now.  Start looking into how to better use the networks you are currently using and have those resources work for you. They really can help you make money. One we thing we always try to keep in mind is there is always enough eBay resources to go around for us all.
Good luck to you on your endeavors and enjoy the community!
